Who doesn’t need a holiday right now? Between school, bedroom-destruction, meal-time madness and a bit of sport there’s not much time to chill out together, let alone plan the perfect getaway. So, you can imagine how stoked we were to simply pack two bags (one for us, one for the kids) and drive 15mins up the road to the Novotel Brisbane to have an inner-city stay-cation! No grand plans, GPS ‘miscommunications’ or porta-cots required and our three year old was super-excited to being heading to a “Hell-tel” for the night. Last night was one of those nights that I will never forget … EVER!! What was great!! – Seeing my kids play together for hours with only a few minor moments of bickering. – Not having to get in and…

It seems that travelling around Australia with the family is one of those bucket list things to do before the kids get too old, and the Northern Territory is definitely an adventure not to be missed. Over the past 3 years 4 different sets of our friends have taken to the road with their kidlets in the hope of creating some great memories and experiences that will last a lifetime. One of the places that is a must visit when driving around Australia is the Red Centre including Alice Springs, Uluru and the stunning West MacDonnell Ranges National Park.  I…
